The Miracles of the Sea
The Miracles of the Sea provides a fascinating exploration
of the underwater world. With high definition photographs and a database full of
information, you will embark on an interactive journey within this truly spectacular
marine environment. There is also an opportunity to visit the spectacular Genoa Aquarium.
Miracles of the Sea has four main categories for you to explore:
- Research
Peruse scientific data on the fish and species, including their classification, feeding
and breeding habits.
- Principal Habitats
This section divides the species according to their principal habitats: The Coral Reef,
Warm Water, Cold Water, Continental Water, Deserts and Oceans.
- The Aquarium
An introduction to Europe’s largest aquarium. This highlights the architectural
project, explained by the architect Renzo Piano.
- Interactive Maps
You can gain access to the various pools within the aquarium via the interactive map.
Information can be gathered on any of the 500 species that can be found in the complex.
